This presentation will explore the nature of addictive behaviors in general and their effects on the family system. Learn strategies to support yourself and your loved one during this challenge. Topics of discussion include: effective coping skills, setting healthy boundaries, creating appropriate expectations, and utilizing available resources to help your loved one build a foundation in their recovery.

Mr. Hill is an addiction professional with 20+ years of counseling, administrative, prevention and advocacy experience. He currently works with the Family Advocate Program as a Senior Mental Health Peer Specialist providing assistance to families within Riverside County who have a loved one suffering with addiction or co-occurring challenges.
