Our workgroup is committed to community education, awareness, and outreach with a strong focus on harm reduction and stigma reduction. We are developing engaging content—including videos, flyers, and potential social media platforms—to spread accurate information and support those affected. A key priority is building a dedicated team to carry out harm reduction activities and expand access to life-saving tools like Narcan.

Our workgroup is focused on breaking down barriers to the use of buprenorphine, ensuring more people have access to effective treatment. We are actively targeting youth with education and resources on opioid overdose prevention. To further our harm reduction efforts, we are developing stigma-reducing flyers, videos, and potential social media platforms. Additionally, we’re collaborating with outside organizations to create strategies, participate in outreach events, and advance harm reduction initiatives in our community
